Bogor, 16 September 2024 – Dalam rangka meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan para remaja puteri (rematri), MAN 5 Bogor bekerja sama dengan Puskesmas Parungpanjang mengadakan program pencegahan anemia. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi serta upaya preventif terhadap anemia yang kerap dialami oleh remaja puteri di masa pertumbuhan.
Mengawali kegiatan hari itu, Kamis 12 September 2024, tim dari Puskesmas Parungpanjang diterima oleh kepala Tata Usaha bu Waryati, S.Pd.I dan wakamad bidang Humas di ruang meeting. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pengarahan oleh tim diadakan di musholla madrasah ini melibatkan seluruh siswi MAN 5 Bogor dengan berbagai rangkaian acara seperti pemeriksaan kesehatan, pemberian tablet tambah darah (TTD), serta sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya asupan gizi seimbang. Tim kesehatan dari Puskesmas Parungpanjang menjelaskan bahwa anemia, terutama yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan zat besi, dapat mempengaruhi prestasi akademik serta kualitas hidup para remaja.
Baca Lainnya : Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, bapak Safwan Maulana.M.Pd, dalam pesannya melalui wakamad bidang Humas menyampaikan bahwa kerjasama ini merupakan salah satu upaya madrasah untuk menjaga kesehatan peserta didik, terutama para siswi, agar mereka dapat terus berprestasi tanpa terganggu masalah kesehatan. "Anemia bisa menurunkan konsentrasi dan energi, sehingga pencegahan sejak dini sangatlah penting. Kami berterima kasih kepada Puskesmas Parungpanjang atas dukungan dan perhatiannya terhadap kesehatan siswi kami," ujar beliau.
Selain itu, dalam penyuluhan yang diberikan, para siswi diajak untuk memahami tanda-tanda anemia dan cara pencegahannya. Pemateri dari Puskesmas, Ibu Siti Nurhayati, menjelaskan bahwa anemia bisa dicegah dengan mengonsumsi makanan bergizi seperti sayuran hijau, daging merah, serta sumber zat besi lainnya. "Pemberian tablet tambah darah (TTD) kepada remaja puteri juga merupakan salah satu cara yang efektif untuk menekan angka anemia di kalangan remaja," tambahnya.
Kegiatan ini juga memberikan kesempatan kepada siswi untuk berkonsultasi langsung mengenai pola makan, gejala anemia, dan cara meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin dalam tubuh. Pihak Puskesmas berharap kegiatan ini dapat berkelanjutan dan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran para remaja puteri akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan di masa pertumbuhan.
Tentang Anemia pada Remaja Puteri:
Anemia pada remaja puteri biasanya disebabkan oleh kekurangan zat besi yang dibutuhkan untuk produksi hemoglobin. Hal ini bisa terjadi akibat pola makan yang kurang bergizi, menstruasi, dan pertumbuhan yang cepat. Anemia dapat menyebabkan kelelahan, kurangnya konsentrasi, dan menurunnya performa akademik. Pencegahan dengan cara pemberian TTD dan asupan gizi seimbang sangat dianjurkan.
