Bogor, 10 September 2024 – Tim Deteksi Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bogor melakukan skrining kesehatan di MAN 5 Bogor. Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh seluruh siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi dini risiko penyakit tidak menular (PTM) seperti hipertensi, diabetes, dan obesitas.
Skrining ini meliputi pengukuran tekanan darah, pemeriksaan kadar gula darah, berat badan, tinggi badan, serta wawancara singkat mengenai pola makan dan aktivitas fisik peserta. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di perpustakaan madrasah dengan antusiasme tinggi dari seluruh warga madrasah yang ingin mengetahui kondisi kesehatannya. Kegiatan ini akan berlansung mulai hari ini, Selasa 10 September, 11 dan 13 September.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, bapak Safwan Maulana, M.Pd., menyambut baik kegiatan skrining ini. "Kami sangat mendukung program skrining ini karena kesehatan adalah kunci utama dalam menunjang prestasi akademik dan non-akademik siswa. Dengan deteksi dini, kita bisa mencegah risiko penyakit yang lebih serius di masa mendatang," ujar beliau.
Baca Lainnya : Hasil skrining akan digunakan sebagai acuan untuk memberikan edukasi kesehatan kepada siswa dan guru, serta memantau perkembangan kesehatan di kalangan siswa secara berkala. Petugas kesehatan dari tim PTM juga memberikan penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya menjaga pola hidup sehat, seperti mengurangi konsumsi makanan manis, rutin berolahraga, dan mengatur waktu istirahat dengan baik.
Salah satu petugas dari tim PTM, bu Widyasari, menjelaskan bahwa penyakit tidak menular sering kali tidak menunjukkan gejala pada tahap awal, namun dapat berkembang menjadi serius jika tidak segera ditangani. "Melalui skrining ini, kita berharap dapat mendeteksi masalah kesehatan sedini mungkin dan mendorong masyarakat untuk lebih peduli terhadap kesehatannya," tambahnya.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan seluruh warga MAN 5 Bogor semakin sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan serta menerapkan pola hidup sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
Tentang Skrining PTM:
Program skrining PTM adalah bagian dari upaya Dinas Kesehatan dalam mencegah dan menekan angka kejadian penyakit tidak menular di masyarakat. Skrining ini dilakukan di berbagai lembaga pendidikan dan masyarakat umum sebagai langkah preventif untuk menciptakan generasi yang lebih sehat.
