MAN 5 Bogor – Hari Santri Nasional yang diperingati setiap tanggal 22 Oktober menjadi momentum untuk meneguhkan kembali jati diri santri sebagai penjaga nilai-nilai keagamaan, moral, dan kebangsaan. Tahun ini, semangat peringatan Hari Santri di MAN 5 Bogor diwarnai dengan refleksi mendalam tentang makna kesantrian yang melampaui simbol dan atribut.
Santri bukan hanya mereka yang mengenakan sarung dan peci setiap pagi, tetapi juga mereka yang membawa semangat pesantren ke setiap ruang kehidupan—di kelas tempat ilmu ditanam, di ladang pengabdian tempat amal ditumbuhkan, dan di jalan sunyi perjuangan tempat keikhlasan diuji.
Baca Lainnya : Lebih dari sekadar identitas, santri adalah napas panjang yang menjaga Indonesia tetap merdeka dengan cara yang sunyi namun pasti. Mereka hadir sebagai teladan kemandirian, keikhlasan, dan gotong royong—nilai-nilai yang menjadi ruh dalam dunia filantropi dan kemanusiaan.
Dalam konteks kekinian, peran santri semakin dibutuhkan. Mereka bukan hanya pejuang ilmu, tetapi juga penjaga moral bangsa di tengah derasnya arus modernisasi dan tantangan global. Dengan semangat “Mengawal Indonesia Merdeka, Menuju Peradaban Dunia,” seluruh keluarga besar MAN 5 Bogor diajak untuk meneladani nilai-nilai keikhlasan, kesederhanaan, dan cinta tanah air.
“Santri bukan sekadar sebutan, tetapi sebuah sikap hidup. Ia tumbuh dari keikhlasan belajar, kesederhanaan bertindak, dan semangat pengabdian tanpa pamrih,” ungkap Plt. Kepala MAN 5 Bogor saat peringatan Hari Santri berlangsung dengan penuh khidmat di lapangan Tegar Beriman Bogor.
Peringatan ini menjadi pengingat bahwa santri selalu relevan dengan zaman—menjadi penjaga nilai, penebar manfaat, dan penggerak peradaban.
