Parungpanjang, 21/7/23 - Pagi ini, para siswa kelas X di MAN 5 Bogor mengikuti sesi psikotes sebagai bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan orientasi tahun pelajaran baru. Kegiatan psikotes ini bertujuan untuk membantu siswa dalam mengenali potensi diri mereka, serta memberikan informasi penting bagi guru dan pihak sekolah dalam mendukung perkembangan siswa secara akademik dan non-akademik.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema , menyambut antusiasme para siswa dalam mengikuti psikotes ini. Beliau mengatakan, "Kami percaya bahwa psikotes adalah alat yang efektif untuk mengidentifikasi bakat dan minat siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini akan kami gunakan untuk memberikan bimbingan akademik yang lebih tepat sasaran serta perencanaan karir yang sesuai dengan potensi masing-masing siswa."

Psikotes dilaksanakan di ruang kelas, dengan dukungan tim ahli dari bidang psikologi dan pendidikan dari Lembaga Pendidikan Education Course Centre. Siswa-siswa diminta menjawab berbagai jenis tes psikologis, seperti tes kepribadian, tes minat dan bakat, serta tes kognitif yang meliputi kemampuan verbal dan numerik.
Tidak hanya bagi siswa, namun para guru pun merasa pentingnya pelaksanaan psikotes ini. Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati, menyatakan, "Hasil psikotes akan membantu kami dalam merencanakan pembelajaran yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kecenderungan masing-masing siswa. Kami berharap ini dapat meningkatkan prestasi akademik dan kemampuan sosial mereka. " Setelah selesai menjalani psikotes, hasil dari kegiatan ini akan dianalisis oleh tim ahli psikologi dan diberikan kepada setiap siswa dan orang tua. Sekolah juga akan menyelenggarakan sesi konseling untuk membahas hasil dan memberikan panduan dalam merencanakan langkah-langkah berikutnya. Diharapkan bahwa kegiatan psikotes ini akan menjadi awal yang baik bagi para siswa untuk memahami diri mereka sendiri secara lebih baik dan membantu mereka dalam menentukan pilihan akademik dan karir yang tepat.
