Parungpanjang, 20/7/23. Salah satu ekstra kurikuler yang langganan menyabet juara satu dalam setiap pertandingan dan mempersembahk emas untuk MAN 5 Bogor, yaitu ekskul olahraga, dibawah binaan coach Erik Supriatna.
Ada beberapa cabang olahraga dalam ekskul di antaranya olahraga cabang beladiri pencak silat. Yang tahun ini telah berhasil menggondol beberapa emas di kejuaraan nasional di UHAAMKA dan menjadi juara umum kedua.

Pada demo elskul MATSAMA hari ini, mereka menampilkan atraksi dan jurus-jurus andalan yang memukau peserta MATSAMA dan penonton di antaranya kemahiran mematahkan tumpukan batu berapi menggunakan tangan kosong, kepiawaian menggunakan golok, tongkat dan masih banyak lagi.
