Parungpanjang, 8 Juli 2023, hari ini MAN 5 Bogor kembali menjadi tuan rumah salah satu agenda penting kantor kmenterian agama kabupaten Bogor yaitu dipilih sebagai titik lokasi penyelenggaraan Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM) tingkat kabupaten. Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati, sangat bersyukur atas kepercayaan kankemenag kab. Bogor terhadap MAN 5 Bogor. Ema berpesan para peserta mengikuti even ini dengan menjunjung prinsip kejujuran dan percaya akan kemampuan diri masing-masing.
Sebanyak 73 orang peserta KSM MI, MTs dan MA berasal dari 4 kecamatan yaitu Parungpanjang, Tenjo, Rumpin dan Gunung Sindur akan mengikuti KSM mulai hari ini, Sabtu 8 Juli 2023 sampai dengan Senin, 10 Juli 2023 di MAN 5 Bogor. Untuk tingkat MA para peserta akan berkompetisi menunjukkan prestasi di bidang matematika, biologi, fisika, kimia, ekonomi dan geografi . Dan pada tingkat MTs dan MI akan berkompetisi di bidang MIPA dan IPS. Tutur waka kurikulum MAN 5 Bogor, Yusi Kusumah.
