Parungpanjang, 5 Juli 2023. Hari ini , Rabu (5/7) MAN 5 Bogor mengikuti simulasi Kompetisi Sains Madrasah tingkat MA bertempat di laboratorium komputer MAN 5 Bogor. Simulasi digelar mulai pukul 07.30 - 14.30. Adapun mata pelajaran yang disimulasikan adalah biologi, matematika, ekonomi, geografi, kimia dan fisika. Bertindak sebagai panitia KSM kali ini adalah Yusi Suswanti dan Resti Restuati.
Menurut wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum, Yusi Suswanti, t ujuan
utama dari Simulasi KSM tingkat MA bagi siswa MAN 5 Bogor adalah memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa
untuk mengasah kemampuan mereka dalam memecahkan masalah dan menerapkan
konsep-konsep sains yang telah dipelajari. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga
bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kerjasama tim, dan
komunikasi siswa. Melalui simulasi ini, para siswa dapat belajar bagaimana
menghadapi tantangan kompetisi sains dengan baik dan mengembangkan kepercayaan
diri mereka.

Simulasi
KSM tingkat MA diatur dalam format yang mirip dengan kompetisi sains yang
sesungguhnya. Para siswa akan diberikan soal-soal yang menantang dan harus
menyelesaikannya dalam batas waktu yang ditentukan. Selain itu, ada juga sesi
presentasi dan diskusi di mana siswa dapat memaparkan hasil kerja mereka dan
berbagi pemikiran dengan siswa lain. Ini memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa
untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara di depan umum dan berbagi pengetahuan
mereka dengan orang lain.
Keuntungan
utama dari Simulasi KSM tingkat MA adalah memberikan pengalaman belajar yang
lebih mendalam dalam sains. Para siswa dapat menghadapi situasi nyata dalam
kompetisi sains dan belajar bagaimana mengelola tekanan, bekerja dalam tim, dan
mengambil keputusan dengan cepat. Simulasi ini juga membantu meningkatkan keterampilan
pemecahan masalah siswa, meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis, dan melatih
kecepatan serta ketelitian dalam menjawab soal.
Selain itu, Simulasi KSM tingkat MA juga menjadi
ajang untuk mengidentifikasi potensi siswa yang berbakat di bidang sains. Para
siswa yang menunjukkan prestasi yang baik dalam simulasi ini dapat diakui dan
didorong untuk mengembangkan bakat mereka lebih lanjut. Ini dapat mendorong
semangat belajar dan minat siswa dalam ilmu pengetahuan. [Humas]
