Parungpanjang, 24 Juli 2023. Senin pagi selepas upacara bendera merah putih perdana tahun ajaran 2023-2024, kepala MAN 5 Bogor membagikan piala untuk siswa dan kelas yang menjadi juara pada acara classmeeting yang telah digelar pada bulan Juni lalu. Pembagian piala tertunda karena libur semester genap.
Ada berbagai macam perlombaan yang digelar pada classmeeting bulan lalu di antaranya, pertandingan bola basket, badminton putra, badminton putri, bola voli putra dan putri, futsal putra dan putri, lomba menyanyi, dan mobil legend.

Wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan, Indra Parimarma, menyampaikan tujuan utama dari kegiatan classmeeting ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan jiwa sportif para siswa dan menumbuhkan semangat bertanding. Selain itu juga classmeeting ini juga menjadi ajang untuk menyeleksi para siswa yang berbakat di bidang olahraga dan seni. Para siswa tampak antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan classmeeting tersebut. Seluruh kelas mengirimkan perwakilan terbaik di bidangnya.
Sementara itu, pembina OSIS, Nugroho Dwi Cahyo, merasa bangga dengan kemampuan para peserta lomba classmeeting memiliki bakat olahraga dan seni yang baik.
