Bogor, 27 Juli 2023 - Ikatan Remaja Masjid (IRMA), salah satu ekstra kurikuler baru di MAN 5 Bogor menunjukkan kepedulian sosial mereka dengan memberikan santunan kepada anak-anak yatim. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan sebagai bagian dari upaya mereka untuk berkontribusi dalam membantu meringankan beban keluarga yatim piatu dan memperkuat semangat berbagi di antara siswa-siswi sekolah.
Dalam acara yang diadakan pada hari Kamis sore di Asrama Yatim Al-Barkah Perum I, ekstra kurikuler IRMA MAN 5 Bogor menyantuni 44 orang yatim. Acara santunan dilanjutkan hari ini, Jum'at 28 Juli 2023 yang digelar di musholla madrasah dengan sasaran yatim yang bersekolah di MAN 5 Bogor. Santika Komalasari, pembina ekstrakurikuler IRMA, mengatakan sistem penggalangan dana untuk santunan tahun ini yaitu dengan cara melibatkan seluruh siswa MAN 5 Bogor untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif. Selain siswa, kepala madrasah, kepala TU, dewan guru, dan seluruh staf TU juga berpartisipasi dalam santunan ini hingga mendapatkan dana santunan yang signifikan.

"Kami sangat senang dapat berkontribusi dalam membantu saudara-saudara kita yang membutuhkan, terutama anak-anak yatim. Semoga besar kecilnya santunan ini dapat meringankan beban mereka dan membawa senyum ke wajah mereka," ujar Ketua IRMA MAN 5 Bogor, Santika Komalasari.
Acara ini diisi dengan doa bersama dan motivasi yang disampaikan oleh kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachawati. Kepala MAN 5 Bogor juga turut mengapresiasi inisiatif IRMA dalam mengadakan kegiatan santunan ini. Beliau menyatakan bahwa semangat kepedulian dan kebersamaan yang ditunjukkan oleh IRMA sangat positif dan sejalan dengan nilai-nilai yang dijunjung tinggi oleh madrasah.
"Kami bangga memiliki siswa-siswa seperti IRMA yang tak hanya berprestasi akademik, tetapi juga peduli terhadap sesama. Semoga semangat berbagi ini terus terjaga dan menjadi bagian dari kehidupan sehari-hari," ungkap Ema.
Kegiatan santunan ini menjadi inspirasi bagi seluruh siswa-siswi MAN 5 Bogor untuk lebih peduli dan berempati terhadap orang-orang di sekitar mereka. Semoga semangat kebaikan yang ditunjukkan oleh IRMA dapat terus terjaga dan menjadi contoh positif bagi sekolah lainnya serta masyarakat sekitar.
