Parungpanjang, 11 Juni 2023 -- Atmosfir olahraga beladiri di Kabupaten Bogor terus menunjukan tensi yang tinggi dan positif. Lindra Project salah satu Komunitas Karate ternama di tanah air menggelar event Karate bertajuk Kejuaraan Open Bupati Cup Championship 2023 yang diikuti Karatek se Indonesia.
Muhammad Taufan Sahara Ketua Panitia dari kejuaraan tersebut mengatakan, Event tersebut dilangsungkan di GOR PMPP, Hambalang, Babakan Madang pada tanggal 10 sampai 11 Juni 2023.

Taufan menambahkan, ada lebih dari 800 peserta dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia ambil bagian pada event yang memperebutkan Piala Plt Bupati Bogor ini. "Kejuaraan Open Karate Bupati Cup Championship 2023 ini mempertandingkan 54 kelas dari usia 6 sampai 27 tahun,” tegas Taufan.
Dan MAN 5 Bogor turut berpartisipasi mengirimkan sejumlah karateka terbaik di bawah asuhan salah satu pelatih Karate terbaik di kabupaten Bogor, Erik Supriatna. Keikutsertaan mereka sepenuhnya mendapatkan support dan dukungan moril dan materil dari kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati yang selalu mendukung penuh berbagai ajang kompetisi akademik dan non akademik dari seluruh peserta didik MAN 5 Bogor.
Kontingen karateka MAN 5 Bogor antara lain :
1. Maulidatunnisa : Junior Kumite -53Kg
2. Yunisa Nur Arif : Junior Kumite -59Kg
3. Al-Baari RH : Junior Kumite -55Kg
4. Ghina Sofiyana : Junior Kumite -48Kg
5. Muhammad Rafi : Kumite -60Kg
6. Rival Anam : Kumite -60Kg
Dan alhamdulillah Team Karate MAN 5 Bogor berhasil membawa pulang beberapa medali yang terdiri dari 1 Medali Emas, 2 Medali Perak, dan 3 Medali Perunggu. Suatu pencapaian yang luar biasa tentunya.
Panitia penyelenggara berharap melalui even ini Insya Allah nantinya akan lahir para atlet karate masa depan Indonesia dari Kabupaten Bogor. Selamat dan sukses Team Karate MAN 5 BOGOR !
