Parung Panjang, 30 April 2025 — MAN 5 Bogor melaksanakan kegiatan survei lapangan terhadap 38 calon peserta didik yang mendaftar melalui jalur afirmasi. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari tahapan seleksi untuk memastikan bahwa calon peserta didik yang mendaftar memang memenuhi kriteria afirmasi berdasarkan kondisi sosial ekonomi mereka.
Para calon peserta didik tersebar di 15 desa dari tiga kecamatan, yaitu Kecamatan Parung Panjang dan Kecamatan Rumpin di Kabupaten Bogor, serta Kecamatan Karawaci di Kota Tangerang. Untuk menjangkau wilayah yang cukup luas, panitia membentuk empat tim survei, masing-masing terdiri dari dua orang.

Survei dilakukan secara langsung ke rumah-rumah calon peserta didik. Tim tidak hanya mewawancarai orang tua atau wali murid, tetapi juga menggali informasi dari warga sekitar tempat tinggal. Tujuannya adalah memperoleh informasi yang objektif dan menyeluruh mengenai kondisi sosial ekonomi setiap calon.
Instrumen survei memuat berbagai indikator yang menjadi tolok ukur jalur afirmasi, seperti kondisi rumah tinggal, pekerjaan orang tua, kepemilikan kendaraan, serta kepemilikan barang-barang elektronik. Rata-rata, setiap tim berhasil menyurvei sembilan calon peserta didik dalam satu hari kegiatan.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk komitmen MAN 5 Bogor dalam menjaga transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam proses penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB), khususnya melalui jalur afirmasi yang ditujukan bagi siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu.
Selanjutnya, hasil survei ini akan menjadi bahan dalam rapat verifikasi kelulusan jalur afirmasi yang dijadwalkan pada Senin, 5 Mei 2025 , dan pengumuman hasilnya akan dilakukan pada Selasa, 6 Mei 2025 . (humas)
