Parungpanjang, 17 Juli 2023 - Dalam upaya memperkuat integritas dan kualitas pelayanan publik, MAN 5 Bogor mengadakan rapat kerja madrasah yang di antaranya agendanya adalah sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan serta menegaskan kode etik yang harus diikuti oleh para guru dan pegawai di lingkungan madrasah. Acara sosialisasi ini dihadiri oleh seluruh guru dan pegawai baik yang berada di kampus 1 maupun kampus 2 di wilayah tersebut. Salah satu titik utama dalam acara ini adalah pemahaman yang mendalam tentang kode etik, kewajiban, larangan, serta sanksi yang akan diterapkan jika terjadi pelanggaran.
Menurut Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, bu Ema Rachmawati "Kode etik ini bukan sekadar aturan, melainkan landasan moral yang harus menjadi panduan dalam setiap tindakan dan keputusan yang diambil oleh guru dan pegawai. Ini adalah pondasi dalam membangun profesionalisme, integritas, serta pelayanan yang berkualitas bagi masyarakat."

Kewajiban Kualitas Pendidikan: Guru dan pegawai diingatkan akan tanggung jawab mereka dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Hal ini meliputi penyampaian materi yang jelas, mendukung perkembangan siswa secara holistik, dan berperan sebagai contoh yang baik.Kedisiplinan: Pentingnya disiplin dalam menjalankan tugas, hadir tepat waktu, dan memenuhi tanggung jawab dengan baik.Larangan Diskriminasi: Melarang segala bentuk diskriminasi berdasarkan suku, agama, ras, gender, atau latar belakang lainnya.Penyalahgunaan Wewenang: Guru dan pegawai diingatkan untuk tidak menyalahgunakan posisi atau wewenang mereka untuk kepentingan pribadi.Sanksi Pelanggaran Kode Etik: Jika terjadi pelanggaran terhadap kode etik yang ditetapkan, sanksi tegas akan diterapkan sesuai dengan tingkat pelanggaran yang dilakukan. Mulai dari peringatan tertulis, penundaan kenaikan pangkat, hingga pemecatan bisa menjadi konsekuensi dari pelanggaran yang dilakukan.Sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang tanggung jawab moral dan profesional bagi guru dan pegawai di lingkungan pendidikan. Dengan mematuhi kode etik yang ditetapkan, diharapkan mereka dapat menjadi teladan yang baik bagi generasi muda dan memberikan kontribusi positif yang lebih besar dalam dunia pendidikan.
Kehadiran yang baik dari para peserta serta antusiasme mereka dalam memahami serta menerapkan kode etik ini menunjukkan komitmen mereka untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan dan pelayanan publik yang lebih baik di masa depan.
