Keterangan Gambar : Seluruh civitas akademik MAN 5 Bogor turut serta memperingati bulan bahasa
Parungpanjang (22/11/23), MAN 5 Bogor menggelar berbagai macam lomba antar kelas dalam rangka semarak Bulan Bahasa. Bulan bahasa adalah bulan yang penuh makna yang bersifat sentimentil dan masih ada nilai nasionalismenya. Bulan bahasa sendiri bertepatan dengan hari sumpah pemuda yang jatuh pada tanggal 28 Oktober 2022.
Setiap tahunnya, MAN 5 Bogor selalu memperingati Bulan Bahasa dan Sastra dengan berbagai macam kegiatan yang menarik. Tahun ini, MAN 5 Bogor kembali mengadakan berbagai macam event dengan tema yang menarik, yaitu "Pembentukan Karakter Bangsa Melalui Peningkatan Kualitas Bahasa dan Sastra".

Tak kalah dengan kelas X, kelas XI dan XII juga turut serta dalam acara tersebut. Dalam acara ini, kelas XI dan XII mengikuti berbagai acara dengan mengikuti lomba diantaranya
1. lomba Menulis Cerpen
2. lomba Story Telling
3. Lomba Anchor
4. lomba Olimpiade Bahasa Arab
5. Lomba Stand Up Comedi
6. Musikalisasi Puisi
7. Menulis Puisi
8. Karaoke lagu Bahasa Sunda, Arab atau Jepang
Dengan dibuka oleh Kepala Sekolah, Ibu Ema Rachmawati M.Pd dan dihadiri oleh ketua komite Bapak Hisbullah, bapak/ibu guru dan staff MAB 5 Bogor, serta seluruh juri yang bersangkutan dengan perlombaan bulan bahasa tahun ini, acara berlangsung meriah dan lancar. Acara ini dimanfaatkan sebagai media untuk menggali kreativitas peserta didik, dengan harapan peserta didik semakin percaya diri untuk tampil di depan umum dan dapat meningkatkan bakat dan minat mereka dalam bidang bahasa dan sastra.
Dalam acara penutupan bulan bahasa ini, Bapak Haji Machfud, selaku ketua pelaksana turut memberikan motivasi kepada seluruh siswa siswi MAN 5 Bogor untuk terus berani tampil kedepan, berani berkompetisi dan terus mengasah kemampuannya dalam bidang bahasa sebagai kebutuhan sehari-hari,
Dengan demikian, acara bulan bahasa kali ini berjalan begitu lancar dan sangat meriah. Meskipun belum 100% sesuai dengan konsep awal, tapi menurut Pa Indra Parimarma selaku waka kesiswaan, acara ini sudah sangat baik.
