Kepala MAN 5 Bogor belum lama berganti dari Drs. Cep Anwar, M.Pd, sekarang dikepalai oleh Ema Rachmawati, M.Pd. Pergantian atau rotasi dan mutasi ASN termasuk pada jabatan kepala madrasah adalah sunatullah. Dan setiap pemimpin tentu mempunyai ciri khas masing-masing dalam mengelola dan memajukan institusi yang dipimpinnya. Ema Rachmawati selaku kepala MAN 5 Bogor saat ini menghendaki proses yang cepat dalam berbagai aspek yang bermuara pada peningkatan kinerja pendidik dan tenaga pendidikan dalam upaya mewujudkan pelayanan prima bagi masyarakat pada umumnya, khususnya tentu untuk peserta didik yang berkualitas, cerdas, beriman dan berakhlak mulia.
Semua hal yang tadi telah diuraikan memerlukan sinerji semua pihak yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan milik pemerintah yang menjadi kebanggaan bagi masyarakat, khususnya warga Parungpanjang dan sekitarnya. Proses peningkatan kinerja dan kerja sama team yang baik (teamwork) antar lini tentu diperlukan agar sebesar apapun hambatan yang ada dapat diselesaikan dengan baik dan mempercepat proses pencapaian tujuan dalam layanan pendidikan yang maksimal. Berangkat dari pemikiran tersebut maka dibutuhkan sarana atau media yang dapat memperlancar komunikasi internal dan eksternal, sekaligus sebagai pusat informasi bagi siapapun warga madrasah dan masyarakat.
Maka dari itu peran wakil kepala bidang hubungan masyarakat (Waka Humas) di era kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang baru menjadi sangat urgen, yang kemudian lahirlah pemikiran kepala madrasah untuk menggunakan media sosial resmi (official akun) sebagai media komunikasi dan informasi madrasah baik untuk internal maupun eksternal. Harapan dan keinginan kepala madrasah yang sangat baik tersebut akhirnya segera direspon oleh Humas yang segera membentuk Tim/Divisi Humas untuk mengelola berbagai akun media sosial resmi milik madrasah.
Baca Lainnya : Pada pertemuan pertama Tim Humas menghasilkan kessepakatan untuk segera membuat akun Facebook, Instagram, dan Youtube yang masing masing dikelola oleh dua orang jurnalis dari LM-NEWS. Kemudian disusul dengan pembuatan dan pengaktifan kembali Website resmi madrasah yang memiliki menu komplet lintas bidang yang dikelola oleh Aang dan Rizki Romdoni, dua orang guru IT yang dimiliki MAN 5 Bogor. Keseluruhan Akun resmi tersebut berada di bawah tanggung jawab waka humas, Indra Parimarma, dibantu oleh staff kehumasan antara lain Ay Sumiati (Guru B.Indonesia dan pembina Jurnalistik), Mahmudah (Guru MTK sekaligus Pembina Pramuka), Nevi Damayanti (Guru Kimia dan Tim ZI Komponen V), Nugroho Dwi Cahyo (Guru Sejarah sekaligus Youtuber). Dibantu juga oleh Tim Inti LM-News yang terdiri dari Hanifah, Faradilla Jane, Dilla, Evan, Gustina Rena, Artikah, dan para jurnalis anggota LM-NEWS lainnya.
