Pada hari minggu tanggal 1 Oktober Pramuka Penegak Pangkalan MAN 5 Bogor mengikuti kegiatan lomba di Event Pramuka Tingkat Jabodetabek y ang diselenggarakan oleh racana Universitas Pamulang. Dalam lomba ini sekitar 2 sangga putri dan 1 sangga putra yang terdiri 24 orang dikerahkan untuk berpartisipasi dalam lomba tersebut.
Ka Ruhdana selaku pembina Pramuka menuturkan bahwa ketiga sangga yang dikirimkan merupakan orang - orang terpilih dan sudah mengikuti latihan yang cukup ketat sebelumnya, Terhitung meskipun hanya dalam kurun waktu satu minggu mereka latihan efektif tapi mereka sudah menunjukkan progres yang sangat baik dalam setiap cabang lomba yang akan di ikuti.
Hal ini terbukti dari pencapaian mereka, yang mana alhamdulillah anggota pramuka bisa memperoleh beberapa juara diantaranya:

Total ada 5 piala yang berhasil di bawa pulang, dan alhamdulillah tepat pada hari selasa (3/1023) setelah selesai tadarus, duha dan do'a bersama diadakan pengumuman dan penyerahan piala secara simbolis oleh kepala madrasah, para waka dan pembina pramuka yang disaksikan oleh seluruh warga MAN 5 Bogor.
Pa Indra Parimarma selaku waka kesiswaan menyebutkan bahwa pencapaian ini tentu sangat membanggakan, tapi alangkah lebih baik jika tidak cepat berpuas diri, masih banyak event lomba yang bisa di ikuti, masih banyak kesempatan untuk membawa piala lebih banyak lagi, dengan demikian semangat untuk terus berproses terutama dalam latihan agar semakin bisa mengasah diri harus lebih di tingkatkan lagi.
