Parung Panjang, 23 Februari 2025 – Dalam upaya mencegah penyebaran penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), MAN 5 Bogor mengadakan kegiatan penyemprotan (fogging) di lingkungan madrasah pada Minggu (23/2). Kegiatan ini berlangsung dari pukul 11.00 hingga 12.00 WIB dengan melibatkan tim dari Puskesmas Parung Panjang sebagai penanggung jawab.
Kegiatan fogging ini dilakukan sebagai langkah antisipasi terhadap potensi penyebaran nyamuk Aedes aegypti, penyebab utama penyakit DBD. Dengan penyemprotan ini, diharapkan lingkungan MAN 5 Bogor menjadi lebih sehat dan terbebas dari ancaman penyakit yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk tersebut.

Kepala MAN 5 Bogor menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada pihak Puskesmas Parung Panjang atas kerja sama dalam menjaga kesehatan warga madrasah. “Kami sangat berterima kasih atas kepedulian Puskesmas Parung Panjang dalam membantu memastikan lingkungan madrasah tetap sehat dan aman bagi para siswa serta tenaga pendidik,” ujarnya.
Selain fogging, pihak madrasah juga mengimbau seluruh siswa dan tenaga pendidik untuk menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat, termasuk menguras tempat penampungan air secara rutin, menutup wadah-wadah yang berpotensi menjadi sarang nyamuk, serta membuang barang-barang yang dapat menampung air hujan.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan penyebaran DBD di lingkungan MAN 5 Bogor dapat dicegah, sehingga seluruh warga madrasah dapat menjalankan aktivitas belajar mengajar dengan nyaman dan aman dari risiko penyakit. (Humas)
