MAN 5 Bogor, 21 Januari 2025– Kepala Madrasah bersama tim dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) melakukan pemantauan langsung terhadap kondisi gedung laboratorium bahasa pada hari ini, 21 Januari 2025. Gedung yang dibangun pada tahun 2001 tersebut kini dinyatakan tidak layak pakai dan masuk kategori membahayakan.
Kondisi kerusakan parah terlihat terutama pada bagian atap dan plafon. Reng kayu yang sudah lapuk akibat usia bangunan dan terpaan cuaca menjadi penyebab utama kerusakan. Hal ini semakin diperparah oleh intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi pada musim penghujan saat ini.
Puncaknya terjadi pada Rabu, 15 Januari 2025, ketika internit plafon gedung tersebut ambruk. Beruntung, kejadian tersebut tidak menimbulkan korban jiwa karena saat itu gedung sedang tidak digunakan. Insiden ini menjadi perhatian serius bagi pihak madrasah.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, pak Safwan Maulana, menyampaikan kekhawatirannya. “Gedung ini dulunya sangat bermanfaat untuk pembelajaran bahasa, namun kini kondisinya sudah tidak memungkinkan untuk digunakan. Kami berharap ada langkah cepat dari pihak terkait untuk melakukan perbaikan atau renovasi demi keselamatan dan kenyamanan bersama,” ujarnya.
Pihak PUPR yang hadir dalam pemantauan ini juga memberikan tanggapan. Mereka menyatakan akan melakukan survei lebih mendalam untuk menentukan langkah penanganan. Salah satu opsi yang tengah dipertimbangkan adalah renovasi total mengingat tingkat kerusakan yang signifikan.
Pemantauan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mengatasi permasalahan infrastruktur di madrasah, sehingga sarana pembelajaran dapat kembali berjalan optimal tanpa membahayakan pengguna. [Humas]
