Parungpanjang, 25 Maret 2024 - Dalam upaya mengakomodir calon peserta didk yang memiliki keterampilan di bidang tahfidz, beladiri dan grafis, hari ini MAN 5 Bogor menggelar seleksi bagi 19 orang calon peserta didik yang mendaftar lewat jalur prestasi non akademik. Ada dua tahap seleksi yang dilakukan yang pertama adalah seleksi berkas dan yang kedua seleksi melalui uji keterampilan.
ke-19 orang calon peserta didik ini terbagi ke dalam tiga bagian. 10 orang jalur prestasi bela diri, yaitu pencak silat dan karate. Untuk dapat lulus seleksi melalui jalur ini minimal mereka pernah menjadi juara 1 tingkat kabupaten dan dibuktikan melalui uji keterampilan oleh pembina karate dan silat MAN 5 Bogor yaitu kang Erik Supriatna. Tes keterampilan yang dilakukan indoor ini berlangsung selama 2 jam.
Baca Lainnya : Sementara itu di tempat terpisah, dilangsungkan tes keterampilan tahfidz Quran. Ada 9 orang calon peserta didik yang mendaftar melalui jalur ini. Ke-9 orang calon peserta didik ini berasal dari berbagai sekolah baik umum maupun keagamaan. Ada pula yang berasal dari pondok tahfidz dan pondok modern. Pelaksanaan tes keterampilan tahfidz ini berlangsung di musholla MAN 5 Bogor. Adapun bertindak sebagai penguji tahfidz adalah pak Syarif Hidayatullah, guru mata pelajaran Qur'an Hadits dan bu Jubaedah, guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab. Salah seorang calon peserta didik jalur ini ada yang mengikuti tes secara online karena masih berada di pondoknya di Lembang Bandung.
Para pendaftar jalur tahfidz rata-rata mempunyai hafalan 3-5 juz. Mereka terlihat bersemangat mengikuti tes ini. Menurut pak Syarif, kemampuan mereka variatif. Ada yang tahsinnya bagus tetapi hafalannya kurang. Ada yang hafalannya bagus tetapi tajwidnya kurang.
Selain melalui kedua jalur tersebut ada juga yang mendaftar melalui jalur keterampilan info grafis. Ke depannya MAN 5 Bogor akan menyalurkan anak yang berbakat di bidang ini ke ekstra kurikuler jurnalistik dan robotik.
Bertindak sebagai penguji untuk keterampilan di bidang ini adalah pak Indra Parimarma, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum dan pak Aang, guru informatika dan pembina robotik.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor membuka peluang seluas-luasnya bagi anak-anak berbakat di bidang akademik dan non akademik. Berdasarkan gagasan dan usulan beliau juga tes keterampilan bagi calon peserta didik jalur prestasi ini digelar. Tujuannya adalah untuk validasi dan konfirmasi.
