Parungpanjang, 4/8 - Rutinitas pagi di MAN 5 Bogor mulai hari Selasa sampai dengan hari Jum'at adalah pelaksanaan murottal, sholat dluha dan do'a bersama di halaman madrasah. Setelah itu semua siswa masuk ke kelas masing-masing untuk mengikuti pelajaran. Tetapi tidak seperti biasanya pagi ini, 4 Agustus 2023, beberapa siswa tetap duduk di tempat semula, tidak beranjak dan hanya mengatur jarak agar tidak terlalu rapat seperti sedang sholat. Tim Humas menghampiri mereka dan ternyata hari ini mereka sedang mengikuti seleksi KSM tahun 2024 tingkat madrasah tahap pertama yang dimotori oleh tim kurikulum berdasarkan instruksi kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati.
Tim kurikulum sendiri terdiri dari 4 orang, yaitu: wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum, Enung Yusi, dibantu dengan tiga orang guru mata pelajaran lainnya, di antaranya Resti Restuati, Erni Noviawati, dan Sutinah.
Baca Lainnya : Berdasarkan hasil wawancara tim Humas dengan ketua tim kurikulum, Enung Yusi, diperoleh beberapa informasi. Kegiatan seleksi peserta KSM tingkat madrasah secara terbuka ini pertama kalinya diadakan di MAN 5 Bogor. Para peserta merupakan hasil pendataan peminat KSM dari setiap kelas. Ada 6 mata pelajaran pilihan yang dilombakan, yaitu: ekonomi dan geografi untuk peminatan IPS, matematika, biologi, kimia, dan fisika untuk peminatan IPA. Dari 160 peserta, sebagian besar memilih mata pelajaran geografi dan biologi. "hari ini adalah seleksi tahap I untuk menjaring 10 orang siswa terbaik di masing-masing pelajaran. Selanjutnya mereka akan dibimbing oleh guru mata pelajaran selama kurang lebih satu bulan, kemudian mereka akan mengikuti seleksi tahap II untuk menentukan 5 orang siswa terbaik pada mata pelajaran yang dilombakan. Setelah itu secara intensif siswa akan dibimbing sampai pelaksanaan seleksi KSM tingkat madrasah tahap III tahun 2024 mendatang." pungkas Yusi.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati berharap dengan adanya kegiatan seleksi sejak dini akan diperoleh siswa siswi yang benar-benar memiliki kompetensi pada mata pelajaran yang dilombakan di ajang KSM 2024, "saya tidak ingin main-main dalam mempersiapkan KSM 2024, para peserta harus benar-benar dipersiapkan dengan baik, mereka harus mendapatkan bimbingan intensif dan maksimal. Jika dua tahun ini MAN 5 Bogor berturut-turut masuk tingkat provinsi maka tahun depan saya berharap kita bisa lolos KSM tingkat nasional". harap Ema Rachmawati menutup pembicaraannya. [humas]
