Bogor, 19 Agustus 2024 – Prestasi gemilang kembali ditorehkan oleh Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 5 Bogor. Tim futsal MAN 5 Bogor berhasil meraih juara I dalam ajang bergengsi Lomba Futsal Se-Jabodetabek yang diselenggarakan di GOR Kota Depok, Minggu 18 Agustus 2024. Kemenangan ini menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri bagi seluruh warga sekolah, sekaligus mempertegas posisi MAN 5 Bogor sebagai salah satu madrasah unggulan dalam bidang olahraga.
Turnamen yang diikuti oleh puluhan tim dari berbagai sekolah di wilayah Jabodetabek ini berlangsung ketat dan kompetitif. Setelah berhasil memenangkan empat kali pertandingan akhirnya MAN 5 Bogor berhasil masuk babak final melawan pemenang grup lainnya, tim futsal MAN 5 Bogor menunjukkan performa luar biasa dengan mengalahkan rival kuat dari SMA Negeri 2 Depok dengan skor akhir 5-2. Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Safwan Maulana, M.Pd, mengungkapkan rasa syukur dan bangganya atas prestasi ini. "Kami sangat bangga dengan kerja keras dan semangat juang anak-anak. Ini adalah hasil dari latihan intensif dan komitmen mereka untuk memberikan yang terbaik. Semoga prestasi ini menjadi motivasi bagi siswa-siswi lain untuk terus berprestasi, baik di bidang akademik maupun non-akademik," ujarnya.
Pembina olahraga MAN 5 Bogor, Erik Supriatna, juga menyampaikan apresiasi atas dedikasi para pemainnya. "Mereka benar-benar telah berjuang maksimal. Seluruh pemain menunjukkan kemampuan terbaik dan semangat pantang menyerah selama pertandingan. Ini adalah kemenangan tim yang diraih dengan kerja sama yang solid," katanya.
Keberhasilan tim futsal MAN 5 Bogor ini disambut dengan suka cita oleh seluruh civitas akademika. Para siswa dan guru turut merayakan kemenangan ini. Semoga prestasi ini menjadi awal dari kemenangan-kemenangan lainnya di masa yang akan datang.
