Parungpanjang, 06 Oktober 2023 - Hari Jumat merupakan hari istimewa bagi seluruh umat islam di dunia tak terkecuali MAN 5 Bogor. Sudah menjadi pemandangan rutin yang menyejukkan mata dan hati setiap hari Jumat siang. Rombongan siswa MAN 5 Bogor mengenakan baju koko putih dan celana hitam berjalan kaki memenuhi sepanjang ruas jalan depan gedung MAN 5 Bogor menuju ke beberapa masjid yang ada di sekitar desa Cibunar Parungpanjang. Mereka berangkat dari madrasah pukul 11.30 dan kembali pada pukul 12.15 WIB untuk melanjutkan KBM lima belas menit kemudian.
Ada pemandangan yang berbeda hari itu, mulai pukul 12.00 beberapa orang guru bergerak memasang meja di bagian dalam gerbang masuk madrasah, memajang kue-kue di atasnya menyambut kedatangan para siswa dan karyawan MAN 5 Bogor dari masjid. Tepat pukul 12.15 para siswa pun mulai berdatangan memasuki gerbang. Bermacam-macam ekspresi siswa dan karyawan madrasah melihat pemandangan tak biasa itu. Ada yang senang, ada yang kaget seperti diberi surprise, ada juga yang mengira ini adalah barang dagangan. Ada-ada saja. Tapi setelah dijelaskan bahwa ini adalah sedekah Jumat berkah dari bu Ema Rachmawati (kepala MAN 5 Bogor), mereka pun mngerti dan antusias memilih kue yang disukai. Tepat pukul 12.30 meja pun sudah bersih tak ada kue yang tersisa. Alhamdulillah berkah. [humas]
