Parungpanjang, 31 Mei 2023 -- MAN 5 Bogor di bawah kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati terus bergerak, berubah ke arah kemajuan di berbagai aspek, baik dari aspek peserta didik menuju karakter siswa yang unggul secara intelektual, sehat fisik dan mental, serta berakhlak baik dalam bingkai iman dan taqwa.
Tidak saja siswa, guru sebagai tenaga pendidik pun terus diupgrade pemikiran, mindset dan pengetahuan terkait tupoksi dan wawasan mengenai implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Untuk itu pada hari ini di Laboratorium Komputer diadakan sosialisasi implementasi kurikulum merdeka di MAN 5 Bogor yang dibuka oleh Kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati didampingi oleh Kepala tata usaha, Waryati. Adapun pemateri atau narasumbernya adalah Enung Yusi Suswanti dengan moderator Moh Syahlan.

Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diketuai oleh Jubaedah dengan beberapa anggota antara lain Ai Sumiati, Santika Komalasari dan lain-lain.
Secara singkat dalam pengarahannya, kepala madrasah menjelaskan bahwa Pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 umumnya hanya fokus pada intrakurikuler atau tatap muka, sedangkan Kurikulum Merdeka menggunakan paduan pembelajaran intrakurikuler (70-80% dari JP) dan kokurikuler (20-30% JP) melalui proyek penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.
Sementara itu Enung Yusi Suswanti dalam paparan sosialisasinya menjelaskan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka memiliki keunggulan yaitu lebih sederhana artinya fokus pada materi esensial dan pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik pada fasenya. Belajar menjadi lebih mendalam, bermakna, tidak teburu-buru dan menyenangkan.”
Dalam kesempatan terpisah, Indra Parimarma sebagai salah satu guru yang sudah lebih dari 23 tahun mengabdi di MAN 5 Bogor menyampaikan pandangannya secara tertulis kepada Tim Jurnalistik LM-NEWS bahwa guru atau pendidik sebagai ujung tombak implementasi kurikulum di ruang belajar yang berinteraksi langsung dengan peserta didik harus terus meng-upgrade diri seiring perkembangan zaman sehingga dapat membersamai peserta didik menuju pencapaian cita-cita mereka.
