Parung Panjang, 13 November 2024 - MAN 5 Bogor hari ini mengikutsertakan 291 orang siswanya dalam kegiatan Asesmen Bakat Minat (ABM) yang ditujukan untuk siswa kelas 12 jurusan IPA, IPS dan Bahasa. Hari ini, Rabu, 13 November 2024 merupakan hari pertama pelaksanaan ABM.
Pembukaan ABM oleh kepala TU, Waryati, S.Pd.I mewakili Kepala MAN 5 Bogor yang hari ini sedang mengikuti kegiatan rapat koordinasi kepala MAN se Provinsi Jawa Barat bertempat di MAN 1 Kota Bandung.
Baca Lainnya : Bertempat di Laboratorium Komputer, kegiatan ini dipantau secara langsung oleh wakamad bidang kurikulum dan beberapa dewan guru yang telah ditunjuk sebagai pengawas ruang. Pelaksanaan ABM ini merupakan salah satu langkah MAN 5 Bogor dalam membantu siswa menemukan potensi diri dan minat yang sesuai sebagai bekal untuk masa depan mereka.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Safwan Maulana, M.Pd menekankan pentingnya kegiatan ini bagi siswa yang sedang di persimpangan menuju jenjang pendidikan berikutnya. “Asesmen ini sangat penting untuk membantu siswa mengenali potensi dan minat mereka sebelum melanjutkan ke pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Kami berharap hasil dari asesmen ini dapat menjadi panduan dalam memilih jurusan atau bidang studi yang sesuai,” ujarnya.
M. Farrel Sudirman, salah satu peserta ABM, berbagi pengalamannya mengenai manfaat kegiatan ini. “Saya merasa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat. Selain dapat mengetahui minat dan bakat saya, saya juga mendapatkan wawasan baru tentang pilihan karier di masa depan,” ungkap Farrel. Dengan adanya asesmen ini, MAN 5 Bogor berharap para siswa kelas 12 dapat memiliki gambaran yang jelas dalam merencanakan masa depan mereka. Komitmen MAN 5 Bogor dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi siswa terlihat nyata melalui pelaksanaan ABM ini, yang menjadi langkah penting untuk mengarahkan siswa menuju pendidikan dan karier yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka.
